CETEX has made rapid strides towards the ecological transition by consistently increasing the use of  renewable energies, and in particular solar and wind energy, accelerating our journey towards de-carbonisation and increasing energy efficiency

Our business is fully aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and plans to combat climate change. Sustainable development is at the heart of our strategic plan and is part of our values.

We are fully committed to the SDGs and respect all of them, actively contributing mainly to 9 out of the 17 goals, and making sure that we do not harm any of the others.

Switching over to Biomass boiler from Furnace oil.

Commissioning of spent acid recovery unit.

Up-gradation of the ETP to ZLD mode.

Commissioning of Biomass cogeneration captive power plant.

2019

Use of tertiary treated reverse osmosis water from the domestic sewage water for the plant.

2020

In-house developed purification system for Hydrogen to be used in Hydrogenation units.

2022

Use of renewable wind / solar energy.

Investment in Renewable solar energy.
